Just dragged this home after work today. Supposedly the previous owner had gone through it and rebuilt the whole thing. first impression is needs some cleaning and oiling but everything seems to be in decent shape. In all honesty I wan’t looking for another craftsman machine but deltas from the era go for a lot more money here and this just popped up on craigslist right after I put the roof on my new shop (pics of that soon.)
This drill press cost me $160 and came with not one but two press vises and has been customized quite a bit.

A drill press is a great addition to a shop.

I had one already but it was a bench top model. Undersized and under-powered.
