Retired for 6 years after 30 years working in the Information Systems field. Always wanted to try my hand at woodworking as a hobby. Had opportunity to start putting together a shop when a friend of a friend had to move and leave his tools behind. Therefore most all tools are second hand. Did bite the bullet on new router and table, as well as 14" band saw. In last 5 years have enhanced shop with better lighting, electrical service, dust collection, etc.

Really like Woodsmith Mag and Woodsmith Shop. With my subscription to the magazine and ebay, I may be missing 3 issues. My workbench, air cleaner, and many jigs are right from the magazine. Would like to find a good source of ShopNotes back issues some day.

Largest and, I think, best project so far is a porch swing from WS Mag. Make frames for a friend who has a glass and mosaic studio. Have yet to find my nitch with that one special item to mass produce.
