Hi fellow woodworkers,
I am very interested in getting your ideas on how to build a frame
like that without CNC and without buying cheap frames from store.

Thanks a lot for your ideas

I have made a few of the Studio 14 type frames before. The easy way out on those was pocket screws. Not the sexiest, but makes that particular style a pretty simple build. The bigger frame is quite a bit more complex.

Start with a sheet (4’ x 8’) of MDF. all of the openings are the same size so after laying it out (drawing it on the sheet) make a jig for your router to make the openings, i might start with a 1/4” thick sheet, cutout the openings, put it on top of a 3/4” sheet to use the openings to draw on the new sheet, make a jig to cut the openings 3/8” larger all around, then glue the 2 sheets together, if you are going white use BIN as a sanding primer, if you are going color use clear laquer or sanding sealer for the primer.
have fun, count your fingers.

Just get some 3/4” x 2” stock, and use biscuits and clamps to build the frame. Start with the longest continuous piece, and just start adding on. I’d miter any outside corners.

Use a rabbet bit in a router to route rabbets in the back to accept the pictures.

you could also just use a 3/4” sheet and use a rabet bit in the router to make the back rabet for the glass and photos
there are 2 layers of pictures there, make sure you put that in your planning
