Metal machine shop experience.
Had a little custom shop going for archery bows (recurve, reflex/deflex mainly) but was a little too labor intensive to make a living without investing more money.
Interested now in lutherie, primarily banjo!!
Love learning to play, so many different ways to tweak the sound be it tone or mood. I like high-mids in tone harmonizing like harpisichord and try different materials and tone rings and reflector/tone enhancers and such -- SO fun. And it's a really easy instrument to just up and change your tuning mode for different mood with the twist of one tuning knob. Never gets old. Who woulda thunk it... before I thought of it as limited in nature; now it keeps my interest way more than guitar, lyre harp, violin, or even piano or keyboard with all the synthesizers.
