Hi Everyone,

I have always enjoyed woodworking and taught as a Wood Shop teacher after college. However, marriage and advancements in my career led me to Florida where I worked in the Aerospace Industry from which I recently retired.

My wife and I have been married for 37+ years and have two children and 5 grandchildren. Although I always loved woodworking, my Son and I built and flew RC Aircraft from the time he was twelve until he went off to college. He was a much better pilot and I was a much better builder. Gravity always had its way of winning when I flew and on several occasions, I did a little subterranean dredging. Once he went off to college, my interests returned to woodworking where I acquired bigger and better tools (and you can't crash a tool). My woodworking projects have included bracket clocks, wall clocks, garden bench, drop leaf tea table, craftsman style end table, full size baby cradle, baby doll cradle, child's push scooter and various custom ink pens.

Since retirement I have also been involved in doing volunteer work (which I highly recommend) and teaching a beginning woodworker about various tools, how to use them correctly and safely. He is now an active woodworker and has his own garage shop. One of my goals and something I would love to do is to pass this wonderful hobby on to one or more of my grandchildren.

I look forward to sharing my projects and to also learn from all of you.
