Basement shop, pics now up.

One thrashed bench for chopping and glue up, It was cheap, but I reinforced it as I assembled, and added a real vice and the concrete nailers to add weight and height.

One bench so nice (maple top and hickory base) that I couldn’t bring myself to drill bench dog holes.

My instant gratification machine will hold just over a 10 inch diameter bowl blank. I made half my lathe tools, and all the handles (Hickory).

Mostly I use hand tools for the peace and quiet, but cheap table and bandsaws for when i really don’t fell like ripping that six foot board.

Tools and materials on rolling carts and racks since the basement is also our storage closet.
Many, many stanley pre-war tools, so if you need a specific plane or a dated part, ask…

Very nice well used shop. I love the concrete feet on the bench. Bucked up by the underground block wall you can sit and carve and really wallop with that big mallet without any vibration or bench movement. Perfect! I love it.
