I was going to post a comment on the eucalyptus coffee table but then I saw your other pieces and wanted to comment on each of those as well so I just decided to do it here. Your work is fantastic. I love the design and aesthetics of each piece. You are truly an artist and I aspire to do work of this caliber. Sorry if this sounds fanatical but I really enjoy each piece. Keep posting and thanks for the inspiration. I’m adding you as a buddy so that I don’t miss a project.

Don,
You’ve really developed a signature style for yourself. I like your designs very much. I hope I get to a place where I have my own style someday.

The time to start is Right Now :)
For years I allowed my clients too much control over the design aspect of the project. Perhaps it was just gaining enough experience and/or a reputation for good work but my clients now allow me much more freedom and I’m much happier…

Thanks Gary, time does fly when you’re having fun :)
I have been having some challenges with carpal but hopefully I’m back to making sawdust on a more regular basis.
It really is a wake up call when you can’t do what you love to do.
The good news is I’ve been able to keep myself fed with custom spray finishing, some writing and a bit of product photography.
I’ve just started working on a couple of interesting projects that I hope to share in the near future.
Cheers, Don
