Part 1: floor done---working on railings

Building a deck for my backyard. It had one on when we bought the place but it was very old and wobbly so we ripped it down. Fast forward 2 years and now we are putting up a new one. Decided to go with green treated wood primarily due to the cost and easy availability. I also had been making adirondack chairs and found out all of the cool colors they make stain in now! the deck is 13’x12’ this was also my first attempt at making stairs, only ruined one extra 2×12 :)...

Part 2: a few railings attached

I decided to wrap the 4×4 posts with 1×6s above the deck. It looks cool and makes the posts and railing super rigid. This gives it no room to move in any direction. I notched out for the railing and the horizontal spindles as you can probably see in the pics. Ran out of Titebond II so I quit for the day. Need to buy some to make some more railings.
