I remember the day. One of the first outings with my girlfriend’s family. Her dad was one of those very smart people. He intimidated me. Heck Peggy intimidated me. How did this very bright, talented, and beautiful girl end up with me. I’m felt pretty much like a geek. Yet here I was. Part 2: The details are a little rustic

The photos aren’t the best, but here is my update on the Greene and Greene table. Yes I went rustic. I got thinking (think…think…think) and I became interested in translating some of the details to a rustic style. I have a very old cheap band saw so I’ve not done much re-sawing. I’ve never done a breadboard end. Notice I book matched the top. I’m using pine from an old corral and a few pine branches from my firewood pile for the legs. The pegs are well drie...
