Well, what do I say to all those of you who have supported, befriended, and inspired me…
All good things must come to an end…
After a long and wonderfully fulfilling journey, my time as a woodworker is at an end…
I am selling off all my woodworking tools and equipment… some of you knew already but many may have wondered about my absence…anyone in the local area please contact me regards the sale of tools and timber… come and get a real bargain…
The workshop will be cleared, cleaned, insulated, lined and air-conditioned… to become a studio and gallery to my 2 laser engravers… a different direction to my life..
So to all my friends, I will still drop by occasionally and check out your adventures with wood… But alas I will not be posting here…
I wish you all a successful life and a happy and healthy one…
I shall miss the noise and mess.. only a little…but miss it I shall…
A cleaner, quieter and less demanding life…thats for me..
Thank you one and all..
Larry aka DEGOOSE Maykin…
Proud member here for over 8 years…

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Sad to see you go but we al have to make this decisions in life as to what’s best for ourselves. You have always been an inspiration to me and a prime example of how a person can be successful in this crazy thing we called woodworking. You have grown in experience and product deployment over the years improving your manufacturing techniques amazingly well. Thanks for your contribution to Ljs so many Members including myself have learned from your advice so generously given. I hope peace, joy and contentment follow you always.
God bless you and yours, Larry

Larry, I certainly have enjoyed interacting with you on Lumberjocks all of these years. I have also enjoyed your creative nature and woodworking skill and craftsmanship. I have also enjoyed to see your business grow over the years. You have all sorts of talents that contributes to the success of a woodworking business. I have no doubt that you will be just as successful with your laser engraving business. I realize you have had the lasers for a while but now it sounds like you will be able to devote your full talents to laser engraving. I wish you all of the success that you can achieve. God Bless! I hope that you will check back from time to time. I know that you will probably still engrave wooden projects occasionally. Why not post some of them here? No matter what I wish you all the success in the world.
Sincerely,
helluvawreck aka Charles

Best of luck in your future endeavors. I don’t think I’ll make it to Queensland to buy any tools off of you.
