Part 1: Metric Bill Pentz based cyclone

Hi Everyone! it was a rainy morning, I got up early and couldn´t make noise in the shop (everyone sleeping) so started sketchup and built a version of Bill’s cyclone. This cyclone is the smallest one, calculated for a shop vac or very small motor, and a ducting of 4” here is bill´s sheet with measures here is the sketchup plan the plan is metric will update it in the next days… for spanish version visit

Part 2: Improving workshop dust collection

I wanted to improve my home workshop dust collection, last proyect was a mess, all the house ended up filled with dust, and the rest of the familly unhappy. I was using my home vacuum and that was clearly NOT enough. locally you cannot get any woodworking aspiration system from under USD500, that without a cyclone and a low quality chinese model.
