So the Ugh made you look. Not much to see here. Just ughing about my third day doing a major spring cleaning/reorganization of the shop. I’m 95% there. More room, less stuff. Looking toward a new Sawstop next month. A sort of Clean sweep. No pun intended. Ugh

Part 2: Previously Ugh.... now Done...

A rambling post about cleaning. But hey, I’ve been working on it for a few hours each day for 4 days. A few picts while it’s still clean. The table saw you see will be replaced by a 3hp sawstop cabinet saw by the end of April while the free wheeled base is included with it. Well, major cleaning and some rearranging done like this between regular cleanings about every two years. Gotta pipe some 4” over from the collector to the new saw before it arrives. Part 3: Homemade hangers for dust collection pipe.

The past couple of afternoons I put in a 220 plug for the soon to be obtained Sawstop. I also put in a dust collection pipe and duct for the saw. All my other tools are connected to a collector but my table saw never was as it was across the room. The base was enclosed with a door for clean-out. Since the Sawstop has a port beneath it I ran new piping today..Here’s a section of it installed. Notice the hangers I made..My hangers are made by cutting a trough down the center of a section ...

Part 4: Preparing for phase II

After Several years (9 on this site) after setting up shop and posting 41 projects, multiple blog and forum posts, I’m doing a retrofit of the shop. Nothing spectacular, just adjusting a couple of things. I’m getting ready for the next 41 builds. On my radar pretty much in this order: A bridal chest for my daughter who’s getting married in September, A kitchen table, on of the last pieces of furniture of the house after a complete remodel of it and furniture, A dining table ...
