This is the Ridgid Universal Digital Miter Gauge. Lets start with the Universal part. The miter slot bar has a clever lobed t-slot washer that quickly adjusts and locks to the width of any t-slot lower trough. If your miter track is just plain square, then it rotates and locks in flush. They even threw in an extra bar for the non-standard undersized slots that are used on many table top machines. Previously, my other caster wheels I’ve used were ordered on-line from Rockler and I have been pleased. Friday, I wondered what casters were available locally (Lowe’s, Home depot, Ace, Tractor Supply, etc.). I used the internet to check out their line-ups, price and in-stock availability. When I first saw this jig advertised I said, ”$34.99 are you kidding me? It’s got to be a piece of *#@&!” I had never used a dovetail jig before but heard some horror stories from people who have used some of the “cheap” jigs. WOW, what can I say. This is another pleasant surprise from Freud.In my search for a super thin kerf saw blade under 20. The Demo demon @ $15.00 although not designed for table saw and ripping gets my 5 star.Gives extremely clean cut with not too slow but steady feed rate and at 1/16 kerf, No waste and oh my, almost no dust. You can see the cut is practically glue ready.Since this is 7 ¼ blade and super thin, I don’t recommend using it on any stock thicker than 3/4 It may deflect but you do g...
