I do my woodworking in the garage and when I started it only had a single 15 amp 110 volt circuit, two light bulbs, and garage doors that were low enough that I bumped into them constantly whenever I moved boards around. Part 2: Finally - A Serious Saw!

I finally saved up enough to buy a cabinet saw that can handle everything I’ll be able to throw at it for many years to come. My old Ridgid TS2410LS is a great saw, but it doesn’t have the cutting capacity for big jobs, it’s dusty, and it’s LOUD. My new saw is a 3HP Saw Stop Professional Cabinet Saw with the 36” fence, industrial mobile base, and overarm dust collection. Part 3: New Shop Layout - Advice Needed

It’s almost warm again here in Ohio. I spent the winter thinking about how to make my shop more productive. While the snow flew and my tools were safely covered in WD40 I spent a lot of time surfing the web, looking at others’ shops, and playing around in Sketchup.
