Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Greetings to all,
I have been making toys, mostly for my kids and grandkids, for at least 35 years. It all started with a toy gun my son saw in the store. He was five, and did not want a plastic gun. So, I got a bandsaw and made him a winchester model from a 1×6 piece of lumber with a slider to make a snap sound. That was a hit with all of his friends. Now, I discovered the joy of lathes. Started with some simple boxes, and found acorns. So, I am making acrons left and right. Will post some pictures of them soon. I need to get me a good lathe instead of fiddling with my old ShopSmith. I am procrastinating on that.
