Semi retired lawyer. Woodworking hobbyist for at least 50 years. Focusing on Greene & Greene style furniture at the moment. Latest projects were two stands for Stained Glass Panels, one based on based on the Blacker House entry mirror; A variation on Darell Peart's Aurora night stand; a variation on a Gamble House mirror;' and a Earring frame based on the same design. I have previously focused on remodeling - built cabinets, etc., as well as a 1,200 bottle wine cellar, using recovered old growth redwood.

I am looking for either Camphorwood or Sandal wood lumber. I will use it to line a Mahagony chest, which will be approximately 42×14x 24. Anyone know where I can some closer than Australia?

Welcome aboard. Nice that you could join us on Lumberjocks.

Regarding your question, please try posting it in one of the forums. You will get more responses there. There is a forum for wood so that might be a good place. Simply click on forums at the top of this page and locate the forum. Good luck !!
