Woodworker wannabe - been wanting to get into it since shop class in high school.

Ever since high school, I've wanted to get back into doing stuff with wood. Over the past 20yrs, I have been serving in the military. Now, about to retire, I now have the means to do so. I've been looking at attending a school for wooden boatbuilding, but wife isn't a fan of that idea. Still, I got the tools they require for the course and then some so I can get started. I currently live in a townhouse with a small single car garage. Not much space for a workshop but I can see if I can manage something.

Off hand, my proposed project list, not including my sailboat I'm fixing up, will be:

- Workbench
- Tool Chest
- Toy Box for my daughter
- Jewelry Box (wife request)
- Treadle lathe
- ... we'll see what else comes up
