For such a young guy, you sure have some great projects under your belt. I'm pretty much a novice, and I'll definitely be looking to some of your work for inspiration.

That is a really great shop you've got there. I sure wish I had had an inkling of what woodworking was all about at your age. You will have the time necessary to develop your skills to a very high level and enjoy the work all the more for that reason. Have a good journey!

Hi Chris - Thanks for your comments on my shop. At your age, experience, and shop set up, you have a real jump-start on most of those who aspire to be cabinetmakers. I'm sure you will do well.

Here's a thought you may or may not find useful. I installed the "Long Ranger" system a couple of years ago for my dust system, and think it's terrific. That's the low voltage, wired system that starts and stops your collector as you open and close the dust gates. It uses a micro-switch on each gate that operates a relay into which the d.c. is plugged. I can only assume it would work with the current you use. It's sold by Penn State Industries, and is relatively inexpensive.

From what I've seen from your projects, you are well on your way. I think your gonna make a fine cabinet maker! I don't think your gonna stop at cabinets though. Your always gonna have something to build and I'm sure everything will be beautiful!

I wish similar programs were here for the youngins but then OK is a poor state for the working schmo.

You have my admiration and crossed fingers for your endeavors.

    Thanks for hello, Chris.

You know what they say about Newfoundlanders: we are everywhere.

Gonna be in Sin City on the weekend. Gonna stay away from George street and try to be good. Wish me luck!

    Great tameetcha.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless
