As you can see my shop is not like most. My wife and I travel all over Florida with our job. We bought our little Toyota Yaris for the GPM factor. Not for the loads of cargo space it does not have. When we travel, we have us, our dog, luggage and when our 17 years old son goes all of his stuff too. Needless to say my tools is not high on the priority list. I love working with wood so I found a way to bring what I need to have fun. Here is my pack and all the toys I have in it. I have carving knives. saws for rough cuts and detial cuts, gouges, a multi tool hatchet, sharping tools, sand paper, pencils, and saftey needs. It doesn’t seem like much but, I get to combine my passions for God, family, my ministries, my dog and wood working (in that order). I think I can call that Multi-tasking.

I have my eye on some more knives and other tools to enjoy and to have fun with. Thanks for checking out my Shop.

Tim, this is a wonderful way to take your shop on the road. Carving is a gifted talent and it is great to see that traveling, as you do, do not intefere with your ability to express this gift with your carvings.

Thanks for the pictures. It was nice to see the tools that you use.

Carving scared me for along. Then I made a mistake and bought some cheap tools. After I spent a little money and bought a flexcut knife I realized there was a huge difference when you have the right tools.

That’s cool. I can just see me trying to pack my table saw and routers in a little car every day!
