I can't tell you how long I have been playing with wood. I love wood, I an old piece of furniture that has survived the test of time and still looks beautiful. I have bought tools and carried them around all over the place from house to house. I never had a shop to set up in, many of my tools never where even taken out of the box. I had all kinds of plans of what I was going to do with wood. I bought everything I needed to turn pins. About six months ago I sold all big tools and invested in Carving Knives. I am hooked!! I have a lot of my tools in my backpack and now I am having fun and even getting to use my tools. Since I started carving I have changed my positon at work. My wife and I now travel all over Florida. I pick up my backpack and hit the road. Any time I am not busy working I get out my tools and do a little carving.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.
