I am retired. My interests are eclectic to say the least: furniture making, golf, tennis, croquet, fishing, grandchildren, and gardening.
I began doing what I will call woodworking in 1995. My wife knew I would be retiring soon, and asked what I intended to do with myself during my golden years. Of course, I had no idea figuring that golf or loafing around the house might fill the void. Nooo! So forced to say something or face working for the rest of my days, I blurted out that I would convert my old milk barn into a shop and make furniture. No knowledge, no tools, no talent -but off I was on this new enterprise. I learned, I bought, and I developed skills - So now I am a woodworker. Among other things ...
