I would have heeded the advice of the forum community if it didn't take three days for my question to actually make it to the forums. I do honestly care to hear what people with more experience than me have to say. Thanks for posting in my thread, and I appreciate your input about the drill press and the table saw. It's just that the timing wasn't ideal for me.

It just makes me sad that you would think less of me just because I didn't want to miss out on what I thought was a good deal. This is a new world to me, and the condescending community isn't exactly what I expected.

I DONT LIKE SANDING ALL WOOD TO GET STARTED ON WHATEVER I CHOOSE TO DO. I HAVE MADE OTHER PRODUCTS BIRDHOUSES, PLANTERS, CABINETS, AND BEDS. BUNK BEDS, DESK. SHELVES AND MANY OTHER THINGS. I WANTED TO GET A JUMP ON THE SANDING BEFORE THE FINAL SANDING TIME. I WANTED TO BUY DRUM SANDER TO HELP GET WOOD BE CLOSER TO FINISH IN STEAD SAND BY HAND. WARDEN4U
I HAVE 20' GRIZZLY PLANER, 17 ' GRIZZLY BANDSAW CRAFTSMAN 10" TABLESAW, PALM SANDER DRILLPRESS DUST COLLECTOR, AND ROUTERTABLE.

I WOULD LIKE TO BUY DRUM SANDER, WOOD LATHE AND JOINER. THAT WOULD COMPLETE MY SHOP. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON THE GRIZZLY LINE OF MACHINES.

It's still there, Crank! I was fortunate enough to have my shop as Highland Woodworking's shop of the month in their newsletter about a year ago. I'll admit it has gotten a bit more cluttered, but between projects it still 'cleans-up' and 'neatens-up' pretty well.

    Thanks Crank.
Have you checked out the General Industrial Supply in Nashville? They have lots of good stuff there too.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless
