A JEWELRY/MUSIC BOX
A BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR MY MOM

The lid and walls are constructed of hard curly maple inlayed walnut ascent boarder. Legs are polished aluminum flanked with solid walnut which drift ever so slightly above box walls to receive lid. This one of a kind jewelry/music box was created and given to my late mother a few years before laying her to rest. When opened it plays "Unforgettable", and she truly is, in every sense of the word, may she rest in peace. (music only plays on website http://www.greglyonsconstruction.com ...once on site click on "SEE INSIDE SPECIAL BOX" ) in back ground is her most favorite song: "Unforgettable" by: Nat King Cole and his daughter Natalie.

This is a beautiful project. I hope someday to have the skills to do something this intricate. A great tribute to what I am sure was a great lady.

A absolutely beautiful box for a loved one…it doesn't get much better than that. When the purpose of the box is not to hold something but to put a smile on somebodies face the design becomes even better.

The shape is terrific. Cutting those angles precisely must have been a hair-pulling experience…turned out perfect though. How are the legs attached to the box if you don't mind me asking?
