Project Information

Here is another baby cradle, this one is out of cherry with a red chestnut stain. Made for my niece.
I had a TERRIBLE squeak in one end and being made NOT to come apart, I did not know if I was going to be able to get it out. So I ask my fellow LJ's for suggestions and after several very helpfull ideals, now I have NO squeak. Gota love those Lumberjocks.

So what was the solution to the squeek? I did not see the initial question.

Beautiful cradle.

My girls are still way to young to even think about making something like this for their kids, but when I do…. Hope it comes out as nice as this one. Outstanding work Stanley!

That's a piece that'll be around to serve several generations. Glad you got the squeak out of it. It just wouldn't do for the crib to keep the baby awake!! Your niece will doubtlessly be very grateful, you should be proud.

Super looking cradle! Did you design it yourself, or work from a plan? If so, where did you find it?
