Fantastic job! Great detail work. Love the look of the diamond pattern. I am sure everyone will love to recieve one of these.

The woods I used,from center out were,yellowheart,sapele,wenge.purpleheart,mohogany.lacewood and hackberry on a walnut background.Lisa I made two jigs(not as fancy as yours) one for each part.Did use your toggle clamp hold down idea.Thanks for the tip,kept all the parts in my time zone.Thanks everyone for the feedbacks,was a fun project.Surface sander is next project,to much hand sanding on the cutting boards.
Lots of help from LJ's on that suject too.Later Mike

I like the combination of diamonds and squares! Nicely done! I came to the same conclusion after building mine - time for a thickness sander…

I would not leave home with out it… a drum sander that is…
