Beautiful, Jim. The 1/4" bin walls give a lighter look.

Thanks Ivan, Lew, Crowie and Terry!!

Hi Crowie. we play a game in the park called Hand and Foot. It is like Canasta where you make books of cards with a bunch of rules. We use 8 decks in the outer bins and the center bin is for discards.

Hi Terry. You might say that. I have 4 projects going and just started another one tonight…have all the stock cut. All the others are waiting for something…mostly drying for a number of days. It is 90 here and we are going to the beach tomorrow…only a half day of work maybe!

Cheers, Jim

WOT JJ... no unicorns? Still neat.

Is there a lazy one under them?

I remember Canasta… It was what changed me from cans to casks…

In fact I still have the deck

that caused my demise 45 years ago.

Jim, I don't even own 8 decks of cards - nice job on the carousels, oh and the 1/4" walls (to me) are a great improvement

This looks like one of those projects that looks easy but turn out to be quite time consuming. You did a wonderful job on them. Very nice!

Thanks, Alex, Cliff, Dick and Jeff!!

Hi Dick, the thicker bin sides give more area for glue. They used to be 3/16". I dropped ours in Az and broke one of the bins but it was fully repaired easily. I think this will also make them stronger. Planing to 1/4" is also easier than planing to 3/16".

Very nice work on them Jim. There's enough complex work there to keep you in the shop for awhile. I agree with Ivan, i think they're ready for the market.

Thanks, Dave. I was reluctant to do this many. I'm taking 7 back with us this winter. I don't like production. I'm raising the prices on any further ones because it is real time consuming. I don't have a CNC and all the parts are cut by hand.

Dang, that looks like a whole bunch of little parts to make those. Woodworkers nightmare. LOL. Excellent job. Mel

Thanks, Mel, that is exactly what it is. Lot of glue and lots of clamping and sanding!
