Project Information

No glue, no nails, no screws.
A classic table where the top (3 boards) is mounted to the frame with sliding dovetails, and where the legs have also been mounted to the frame in the same way. The legs are "turned" on a homemade (shop-made) angle-grinder copy lathe machine. There's a whole video series on the making of this table:

Sweet! This is a beautiful table, and the design & construction permitting complete disassembly when necessary is a great feature. I saw the YouTube videos during the build, the design of the duplicating machine worked very nice, now I'm off to see the final video in the series.
Thanks for posting, very informative and helpful.

Love it. It looks great and I really like the joinery with no metal. I often set similar goals for no other reason than the challenge of it. Well done.

I like combination of kind of traditional turned legs design and moder straight lines of table top.

A great piece that takes me back to my early years of hand-cutting joints and dovetails. I didn't have a lot of tools back then but every piece was made with patience and care. In this hurry-up world we now live in, I think we can all use a reminder of what woodworking truly means to all of us. I'll be binge-watching your videos this week while listening to every John Prine song I can find!
