I'm not much of a plant guy but it would be worth getting some just to put on it. Excellent job.

i am a plant guy so this really appeals to me.is this going indoors or will it stand up to the weather.very creative.

Thanks for the kind words. My son is using it and it sits out on his protected terrace. I think it is holding up well in that environment. However, my experiments with the same finishing product in a fully exposed environment haven't been good. A few months out in the full sun and weather completely destroyed the finish. Others report better results.

Nice work and beautiful wood.
I especially like the stand legs. Great shape and very well done. Why not use a more durable finish though? Untinted oil paint sounds interesting though, have you used it in other indoor projects?

No. I haven't used it on any other projects. This one was a test after reading an on-line article about using it successfully in an outdoor application.
