WOW he is a loud and proud example of a Rooster isn't he now. I love the Country, Early Americana works, and he sure resembles that from a foot or two.

I've enjoyed reading all of these great comments … so many thanks to you all!

Chances are he wouldn't weather well if I left him out all year, but dear 'Funky' will be nestled inside the comfort of a warm workshop over the winter months. Hopefully that, and end-of-summer maintenance will extend his life!

Your rooster weathervane is so cute, we might just have to turn our neighbor's noisy rooster into one . . . if I can just shoot the arrows perfectly perpendicular!

Nice to hear you're taking him in for the winter. He's too nice to be outside in the snow.

Great rooster Elaine! My wife especially loves it as she is chicken/rooster nuts. We have our kitchen filled with various versions of both. Sorry for the late comments, we have been caught up socializing with my son since he arrived last week.
