ditto wow! just when I start losing hope I this place someone like you pops up and rejuvenates me again! beginner huh? what 30 years ago-lol.i love people that can carve like you just gave us,i truly appreciate your art and wish i could do what you do my friend.thank you for sharing your art and welcome to lumber jocks.

I had to rewrite my comment after reading "it's was the model" Not the carving in the fist picture! LOL! Nice work by the way!

To see how good this really is take it to the beach. If the sea gulls try to eat it, you know it is realistic. LOL

Like everyone else, both my wife and I thought it was a photo of an actual sea turtle. Absolutely fantastic.

That is extremely life like. I live in the Keys and help with turtle rescues and hatching. When I saw that I did a double take. So good!

You should glue some sand on your carving then we would not be able to tell which is the carving and which is real. Amazing job
