Gorgeous! What's the blue part made of? Stained/dyed wood?

Murial, I like your work. The projects you posted have a light humerous touch to them. I especially liked your blue edges here. How did you do that?

This week I have been perfecting a Kleenex cover/box. I'll post it sometime next week or so. I have worked out the methods and jigs to make it easy to make several for marketing and for gifts. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Thanks guys ! You right I should have added some explanations, Here they are :

both veneers are 0.6 mm, stained wood (in the factiry).
blue is beech
yellow is charme (? in English ?)

Cut with a scalpel knive, glued on a simple white wood box bought in a craft shop, lot of careful manual sanding up to 1200, and finishing with 2 layers of wax/oil.

By the way, Charme is Hornbeam in English.
