Magnetic Chess Board
Finally have all these little pieces twisted out and they are now ready for battle!
Bought 100 magnets and used all but 4.

I know, I know the King looks like he has on a Wizards Hat, that's because of his Magnetical Powers!

They still need some finish work just coated with BLO

Thanks for looking!
Happy Easter!

That looks real nice Nick
You did a real nice job turning all the pieces nice and uniform .
One thing you forgot to mention is the placement of the magnets I presume you put them in each board square and used steel washers or plugs in the chess pieces .

Happy Easter to you also

Thanks Klaus,
Magnet in each square and magnet in each piece. You have to make sure and keep all the polarity correct.

Thank You jkid,
It didn't take to long, turned all the Pawns in one stretch a couple hours, and then I would do the next four of a kind each evening after work.

I like…

It would be interesting if the pieces/board changed polarity in a random manner. That way the chess board would have some say in the outcome of the game.

You made a real nice game and I am sure you and your opponent will enjoy it.
