This project is a Custom Designed Carrying Case for an old Maillard Allie Conformateur and Formillon hat making tool.

The finish is Black Lacquer with Brass Hardware.

Cool. I've always beeen intrigued by how woodworking skills are integrated with so many other crafts. (Weaving, Painting, music) Your hat postings have been a real eduction.

Very impressive and elegant case. I would expect to see the Hope Diamond for transport using this case.

Thanks folks. This Forum isn't really for posting photos of other people's craft work in making hats. But, I can post links, and other materials to promote the customers that are using my tools. Thanks for the idea.
