Looks like you have three complete bench planes in all that metal. That's a lot of plane parts for the price. Are they mostly Stanley parts? It looks like lever caps say "Stanley" on them. You did well to rescue them.
Four each Bailey #4 cast in the bodies. One bench plane is in fairly good shape - a Stanley "C556" cast in body (#3??) a little narrower than the #4s anyway. 24 extra blades/chip breakers. there was a brand new blade for my low angle block plane and there was enough parts to put another low angle plane together. anyway way more stuff than I will ever use…
I need a number 5 Bailey sole, a plane 2inch lever cap (but one that says Stanley would work) and a couple of block parts an eccentric toe adjustment lever for a Stanley 65 SW and a lever knob for a Stanley 220. But your parts all look to knew for my old planes.
Hi jim, any chance of getting one of those 2" blade and chipbreaker? I have an old stanley with out a blade and chipbreaker, be nice if i could get one of thoes. Just pm me if you want to unload one of them.
