Project Information

A simple dovetailed step stool, which was one of my early projects. It's held together by dovetails and a wedged tenon on the front side. it was a lot of fun to build and was inspired by a project my grandfather did for my mom when I was a kid. Now that I'm married and my wife can barely reach the bottom of the kitchen cabinets, I figured it would be a great addition.

Keep the wife happy and the saw dust will fly uninhibited! I made a simple shelf for my wife to put over the sink for her small flowers. You'd have thought I was the greatest woodworker since Jesus. Truth is, I'm still learning how to cut a straight line.

Thanks folks! It was a fun one and actually turned out well, which was a little bit of a surprise! The only problem now is that she used it and doesn't want me to take it away and apply a nice finish! I'll have to just sneak it out and apply some shellac since the cure time is pretty short…
