Project Information

I have created quite a few copies of this image - it seems to strike a chord in a large amount of people.

While not overly complicated, it has enough detail to easily tell who it is. The single word 'imagine' nicely completes the image.

This one is for me to keep.

Wood used is solid, 3/8" thick cherry with a live edge running along the top.

Overall, it measures 12 1/2×7 inches.

Treated with a soak in lemon oil and backed with thick felt.

Enjoy!

Awesome! ;)

Impressive. Some of the scrollwork is so thin, I don't know how you managed. A truly fine example.

Buckethead,

This was actually a pretty "tame" piece to cut.

If you want to see thin and fragile, check this out: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/64589

Thanks for all the compliments!

A man of many contradictions. "Imagine no possessions", said the guy living in an enormous mansion. Still, a great musical talent for sure, and a well done project.

I could immediately tell that it was Elvis!
Although a seasoned woodworker, I don't do much scrolling. However I can still appreciate your creation. Well done!
