Project Information

Maple crotch wood hollow form it measures 6 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide. It is dyed and finished with wipe on poly. I haven't been turning much lately ( did a small piece for my sister I didn't) but I wanted to turn something nice for mntwild. Who was kind enough to send me one of his very nice cooling racks (the form is resting on it) that me and my wife really liked. I love his falcon canes hence the name. Thanks for looking.

Great looking. You seem to have a great eye for the upper shelf woods. I know how it feels not to be turning much, just too busy….

Thanks Mike. I actually got that from someone who was kind enough to let me take some from a tree that fell in front of his house.

Nice work Lou. Hey-I bought a Lathe! I've not had a chance to do much on it, but am hopeful to find time this summer and by fall. You set a very nice standard for me to aspire to with your work. I may be calling on you for advice as I get started. Thanks for sharing.
