Project Information

I don't know if you've ever caught yourself muttering, "Where is it? I just had it in my hand a minute ago,#%@&? I finally got so tired of it, even though I really tried to put what I just used back where it's supposed to be. The problem with clamps is that I hadn't provided one such place for ALL my clamps. So I bought one of those mover's dollies and just started erecting a rack on top of it. And this is what I ended up with, put together with 1×4 scrap pine from throw away shipping crates.. I never knew I had so many different kinds and sizes; I'm still finding clamps to put on the tree! From now on, I'd just wheel the tree to where I'm working so they would all be close by - to get and to put back! Should'a done it a long time ago.

I love it when I have to turn my monitor counter-clockwise up on its side to see ppls pictures that they post.
Someone else had commented recently about people not caring enough about their projects to post the pictures correctly in the first place. Is this true for you ? Just asking.
You've got over 85 views and no comments (prior to this one) as of this time.
Kinda makes ya wonder why , ay ?

I frequently am turning my laptop sideways and upside down just to get a diff perspective
on things . I do the same thing with pictures in mags and books . Funny at how looking at things upside down can give you an insight or inspiration that was hidden and can suggest diff forms that might lead to new directions. Not very interested in tool caddies, but i did download your ' tokens of appreciation ' boxes because it had a design element that interested me . And those pics got spun around a few times the easy way.
Its all good . Thanks.

I have to be honest about the sideways picture thing…...... I rarely even look at a project if the pictures are sideways.

Could be the greatest project of the year - I won't read or view it.

Thanx very much, hooky. I was looking to rotate them before posting, but I didn't find a way to do it, or I would have done it. I get a crick in my neck looking at them sideways! Now show me how you did it, please?

@LittlePaw, You need to do it before you upload them…

When you double click on the picture on your computer, you should see this at the bottom of the window, (if you're running Windows 7 or Vista, that is).

Click that guy before you upload the pics to LJs, that should do it!

Nice clamp rack and collection. Thanks Hooky, I thought Paul had velcroed them to the wall! He's a pretty clever guy. LOL

Funny, I have no problem looking at sideways pics on my iPad… Nice clamp rack. Wish I had enough clamps to constitute a rack. Maybe it's more of a build it and they will come

Chilimac i like your quote about building it and they will come

but my tools are split in 2 some for work and some for my shop i somehow think works set will win everytime

for those who wanted to know how i rotated them i used microsoft office picture manager (im running windows office 2007 on XP) rotated then saved then reposted the image using LJ's upload (thank god that is much easier now)

I did it the way said before with a scanned image but that was only done inside the program so didnt show up on something else i posted (i did a patch up job on those later)

Yup, they've bin cummin for forty years; that's how I learned to mutter to myself. It's a lot of fun, y'know - muttering to myself, I mean. I think it was Zig Zigler who said, "You can talk to your self. You can even ask your self questions. Just don't catch yourself saying 'Huh?' to your own Q"
