Location: Obama's back yard

I'm a novice. my first project was remodeling my kitchen with cabinets I made from scratch using wood from (shudder) HD. Current project: making a bed foy my 3yo daughter; this time with real wood. Favorite tools: LN hand planes. oh yeah.

Our kitchen cabinets are primitive, made from birch plywood from HD, but they work. Maybe someday we’ll remake them using a floating technique, but for now they’re functional.

I used to commute to Dupont Circle & McPherson Square on a daily basis until I “retired” to do my canes.
