Our recent retirement allowed us to move to northern Wisconsin and build a much larger standalone shop. Leaving a standalone shop that worked well for over 10 years I was given almost full approval to go wild (within local zoning limits). We ended up constructing a 1200 square foot building with 9 foot ceilings. After having the shell built I completed the interior myself. The electrical, insulation and wall / ceiling finished surfaces completed I was able to load equipment and tools. Still a work in progress, everything is now under one roof again. Should be an interesting winter.

Its looks good, glad you were able to complete it so quick, my shop right now is my over size garage 900sq. ft. I do have my concrete slab for my shop finished 1800 sf but it will be another year before I can finish it as I’m doing the work my self

Very nice shop. I used to have an overhead door but lost a lot of heat. I finally built a 4’x8’ swinging door and am happy with that.

Your new shop looks great. Nicely done. I love the 9 foot ceilings.
