My kids asked me what I want for Christmas and I told them I could use some clamps and emailed them a picture of a specialty clamp. Dale Jr. says ” Dad I think you have a clamp addiction”. I responded What is your Point? You can not ever have enough clamps.

I really don’t think you have too many clamps. That seems like a modest collection.

Dale,
Bully for you for standing your ground with your reply. Why…the nerve of these young whipper-snappers! Who do they think they are?
Don’t they fathom that an abundance of clamps is not the mark of an addiction, but a shop necessity?
I’d have a lot more in my shop if it weren’t for my subscribing to the old addage that “One can never have too many hand saws.” Hope you get your specialty clamp!

Looks like a very most collection to me. For my storage crates project, if I wanted to do all of the clamp-ups at once, I would have needed at least 96 clamps (6x per panel glue-up, 4 panels per box, 4 boxes) if I wanted to do all of the clamp ups in one go. I turned around and told my wife for the next 8 boxes, we should consider increasing my supply to 192 clamps.
It’s not a problem until you run out of space to store them all.
