« Part 5: Completed top & Sliding Deadman Part 6 of African Rosewood, Leadwood and Maple Workbench build series no next part

I recently made a Moxon vice for my bench as well.

It is hard maple jaws with leadwood screws and nuts. The jaws are lined with dark brown suede leather.

I can clamp 440 mm between the screws, up to c 85 mm thick. The mounting holes were drilled slightly oversize so that I can clamp slightly tapered stock.
