Wall Hanging Plane Tray

I recently built a wall hanging plane tray to store my hand planes on the wall. It has a bracket at the top and bottom to hold the plane. It simply slides in and drop down to stay in place. And simply lift up and out to remove. It’s made from shutterply backing board and African Rosewood off-cuts. The brackets are lined with suede leather to protect the paint / japanning. The empty slots are for planes that are still in the cupboard waiting to be restored.

Stanleys and a Luban on the left.

Very nice looking and well-thought out design.

Nice design. And room to grow too.
