I took a 1 week vacation from work, during which time my in-laws came over up from south america. But , I managed to sneak into the garage to play with my delta table saw, and i decided to whip up this bad boy, cause I need extra storage space for all my clothes… this is 1 coat of amber shellac. i plan on coating it again with shellac then applying laquer. There are a couple of mistakes of course…. but this is better than the last dresser I built which sits in the basement cluttered with junk.
I should mention that it is made from pine for the top and drawer faces, and birch plywood for the sides and drawer boxes, spruce lumber for the legs.

I don’t know why I punish myself and try to build larger more complicated projects being that i am a beginner…
I always tell myself after working my rear off that my next project will be small and simple like a picture frame or jewelry jox, but noooo I have to jump into the fire—and once i start there’s no going back….
