Ridge carbide vs Tenryu Gold vs Infinity - 4 replies

Back ground, I have a 30 tooth woodworker 2 that is awesome. I am not opposed to buying a 40 tooth ww2..in fact it may even be leading. My question is, if you had to pick between Ridge Carbide, Tenryu Gold or Infinity, what would you pick. Leaning towards Ridge

I just want to thank Josh on here. He was the one looking to sell his sawstop to purchase a 5hp model.. He has cut me a great deal, worked with me on shipping and everything. Super stand up guy. I can not wait to get this thing in the shop!

What table saw would you get? I really had my eyes on the grizzly g0833p and then started considering the g1023RL. What other options would you all considering. I know people will say saw stop and I wish that were an option…but to be honest, getting this far with my wife is lucky, and I am not going to push the envelope any farther.

ok, I need help with a suggestion. I do a lot of large farm house tables. In saying that, my glue lines are usually really close but sometimes has 1/32 inch or so lips even after using dominos for alignment. which plane do you all think would be best for getting that knocked down and flat? would a number 7 be my best bet in this instance?

question on glue line rip - 17 replies

I noticed on my glue line rip freud it says up to 1 inch thick material. I rip a lot of 6/4 and even 8/4 wood for table tops. Is the glue line not good for this? Also I saw a thick stock rip 18 tooth that I am considering buying for my thicker. What are your alls thoughts?
