Part 2: gardden bench legs assembly

Right now im assembling my leg pieces for my bench. Im face gluing these pieces because i need them to be thicker then what they are. Some of the cuts ive used is a miter cut, a table saw cut, and a jointer.

Part 3: All pieces

Part 4: Leg cuts

Now i am cutting the mortise and tenons on my legs. This will allow the base of the bench to connect.

Part 5: Dado cuts

I achieved this week all the dado cuts i needed to make on my long rails and short rails for my bench. I also cut out the tenons in my leg pieces and chizeled out all imperfections. Lastly, the chizeling took a while but it was all worth it

I only had one day in woodshop this week but i was able to router my lats and cut my tenons to fit my mortises my next job is to fit my short rails

Part 7: Legs and short rail

Got everything to fit together. Slats are not equal but im gonna fix that. This by far was the most paitient i had to be to complete this bench.
