no previous part Part 1 of Shop of my Dreams series Part 2: Progress »

I have been dreaming of having a stand alone shop with adequate wiring and and heat for most of my life. Now it is becoming a reality. It will be 24×32 w/ 10’ ceilings and a 12’ wide carport on each end. This is the progress to date. I’ll add more to the blog as different phases are complete.

This is the field prior to breaking ground.

Excavation work.

Footing.

Foundation.

Foundation has been backfilled.

Very exciting! Sweet plot of land you’ve got. Very jealous of the land and the upcoming shop.

Magnificent view and location! Yoy’re certainly on your way to a wonderful shop. The size will accommodate plenty of furnishings and tools.

Let me know when it will be ready for a visit, been working on mine for almost 4 years! Klaus told me to stop already and get building! Took his advise and working on my bench so that I can do that famous Bondo Pose!

Question is, having seen you raise the bar for a “completed” workbench standard… what are you going to do finishing a shop?
