 Resawing ziricote and honey locust on my bandsawHello everyone, I just love resawing. Don’t know why…There’s something magical about is. On this video I resaw some nice woods for my clients. Small Brass Hammers #1: The PrototypeI’ve decided to try out this video thing. This is my first and it is very basic. It just shows my intent with making these small brass hammers. These will be used for adjusting plane blades mainly. I may add a wood side on one end at a later date. Hope this comes out okay cause I plan to do many more. Sooooooo pretty,It was originally my intention to dovetail the corners on it as ive never done them before by hand or otherwise and view this sk...  Craig's List find - Free Lumber! Pick it up at the curb...I found a posting in the ‘Free’ section of Craig’s List for some scrap wood piled up next to the curb. It was on a street just a few streets over from where I live. So… I ran over and this is what I found on the curb… And here’s more of it loaded in my truck… And a closeup of the mesquite… Here’s a closeup of the maple burl I found in the pile… It’s the best Craig’s List score I’ve ever ...
