So here are the “Between the Stud” cabinets finished, minus knobs. These gave me some nice storage up and out of the way! With one more interior wall I may just make some more there too! Watch the video to see whats inside!

Here is the first quick video I did of using space “Between the Studs” in my small shop to make storage space and not take up a lot of the shop footprint! If you have a small shop and storage is a problem, this may be a good solution for you! I made these out of shorts and leftovers from previous projects!

I wanted the shelves to be extremely strong and have a good size lip to keep stuff from falling off while I move the rack around. I typically over-engineer my projects, but with as much weight as this rack has on it I am very glad I built it solid.
I glued and screwed (with pocket holes using my Kreg Jig) the A-Frames, but I decided to keep the shelves without glue so I could break down or change the rack. The long shelf sides are the rails that connect the A-Frames so I put 2 pocket hol...

What started out as a simple clamp rack project grew into an entire assembly center.
I started out wanting a mobile rack for all of my clamps to make assembly easier and avoid the running back and forth for clamps and/or having the work table covered in clamps so there is no room to work. The next thing I knew the project grew into the idea of having everything needed for assembly on a mobile cart – clamps, glue, biscuit joiners and biscuits, dowels jigs and dowels, pocket jig pocke...

I have to say I have had a real good week in the shop and I am quite happy with the outcome. As noted earlier on in this series I have been wanting to get things a bit more organized and also get my lathe cleaned off and able to be used. So I spent a good portion of time this week working on a new cabinet (still needs doors but I will make them this time I promise) and some drawers for my powertool bench, all of which gave me some good practice. The best part is that I did not need to buy any...

I am building a table saw island to add out feed and and cross cut capability, to this craftsman table saw. A customer from my stereo install days, asked me to build him a table around his table saw. When I complete this I am going to build and fabricate car stereo and interior panels, enclosure, and a custom console for his cherry 67 Camaro. This bench/table should be great for woodworking. The pictures show my progress at the end of the third day. I included plenty of storage with deep cabi...
