We do a lot of corrugated partitions at work, and occasionally do similar designs out of plywood cut on the CNC for use in crates. So I laid these out in 1/4” Masonite and banged them out about a month ago. Here are the individual pieces… Ad here they are set up…

Two years ago I found this article in FWW magazine and knew this was the sand I wanted to build. Since I have already built a hood and have my saw parked right next to my DC, I decided to modify the design and use the case to organize my cut offs. Here’s the magazine plan… And here’s my design modeled up in Solid Works… I did all this two years ago, but it has just now made it to the top of my list.

Restoring #2: Eagle statue

This eagle is part of St. John’s statue from 17th century altar from Moravian village Dolní Dunajovice (Czech republic). Eagle’s wings was lost and replaced with paper ones. When we removed the paper, some notes and music sheets was discovered in it. Schoolmate Petr did some research with professors from local university department of music history and they think it could be from year 1630. I made a right wing, left was made by next schoolmate.
